Plan your days

When you are trying to stop or reduce gambling you may find yourself with more time on your hands than usual. It’s important to make plans to fill that time. Try to plan activities with someone you care about, like your partner or a friend – the key is to keep yourself busy.

Some examples

  • plan social activities with someone else – go for coffee, see a movie, take a walk
  • plan inexpensive treats for yourself – a favourite meal, a long hot bath, buying music, book, or magazine.
